I am reading a book called Stumbling On Happiness by Daniel Gilbert. The book asserts that when we remember things, we can't remember every little detail of every event in our lives and so we hone in down and remember only fragments from our experiences. The paintings I am doing are like that, fragments of memories. Most of my paintings are done from imagination, such as this one.
