Here is my second Cedarburg painting.

I set up in front of a store with

a canopy that extended all the way to the curb.

It was a good choice because

it started to rain and then pour and then really storm.

I painted through most of the bad weather

and stayed dry.

I got out to do this drawing today in a waiting room.

I am working on portraits, have a few going at once now. The nerve racking part of portraits is showing to the subject the painting. "Here it is! This is what I think you look like!" In the end you take your chance and show them. People see themselves in many ways, No matter how the job looks to you a reaction is hard to know in advance.
